A Message from the Principal

Powells Lane Elementary School educates students in Grades 1 through 5.  Teachers and support staff provide students with an enriching curriculum and actvities that are aligned with the Common Core Learning Standards.  The students of Powells Lane School are exposed to a plethora of academic, social, and extracurricular activities and programs.  

Our classroom, Reading, ENL, Math, and special area teachers, along with the Pupil Personnel Staff work collaboratively to provide each student with opportunities for success. 

The Powells Lane Parent-Teacher Association serves as an integral part of our school.  In addition to serving as a liaison to Powells Lane parents, the PTA supports our students with several extracurricular activities including: planning and attending field trips, Family Fun Night, and other activities throughout the school year. 

We take pride in our diverse school community, and our goal is to educate the whole child while instilling an enthusiasm for life-long learning.
