Little Miss Matched selected 4 local teachers who had posted projects on Donors Choose to feature in a contest. Each school had a poster placed in the window. Shoppers were able to vote for whichever school they wanted to. The store had a total of $500 to give away. Our school received the most votes and as a result earned $320 for Ms. Bernacke’s classroom!!

The excellent work Ms. Donna Sabella does extends beyond the walls of her own classroom. Her hard work benefits students in the after-school program and because of her efforts we have an incredibly active Parent/Teacher Association. Not only that, but she spends a lot of her own money out of pocket so her students will have the supplies they need. Special thanks to Supervisor Jon Kaiman and Councilwoman Viviana Russell for helping coordinate the surprise visit at Dryden Street School.
