2013-2014 School Budget Passed !!
Thank You Westbury Community !!
I just want to thank you for supporting the budget and I am happy to report that this year we passed with a super majority of 64.5% The budget passed with 1,046 in favor and 576 opposed. This shows that our parents and community do care about the school district and support our efforts.
Congratulations to our incumbent Trustees, Rodney Caines, Siela Bynoe and Leslie Davis. We all look forward to working together again for the good of our students and ultimately academic achievement.

Saturday May 4th Nassau and Suffolk county school bus drivers came together for a NYAPT SCHOOL BUS DRIVER RODEO Competition. This is a competition in which the school bus driver's get a chance to show their driving skills. Our Westbury School District drivers took home 9 trophies.
Great job WESTBURY DRIVERS !! Keep up the great work in keeping our children safe.
Monday, April 29, 2013 - Fourth grade students at Drexel Avenue have been researching threatened shorebirds including the Piping Plover, Least Tern and the American Oyster Catcher during library classes. Audubon New York had launched the "Be a Good Egg" campaign and the Drexel students participated in the program. Students designed signs that would alert beach-goers of bird nesting areas, including the federally threatened Piping Plover.
