At the end of January, the Commisioner of Education for New York State, Dr. John B. King Jr., visited the Park Avenue School. Several classes at Park Avenue School, Dual Language/Reading Class, are in the process of being selected to be videotaped by the Education Department as exemplary lessons that are aligned to the Common Core Standards now in place throughout the state. Saturday May 4th Nassau and Suffolk county school bus drivers came together for a NYAPT SCHOOL BUS DRIVER RODEO Competition. This is a competition in which the school bus driver's get a chance to show their driving skills. Our Westbury School District drivers took home 9 trophies.
Great job WESTBURY DRIVERS !! Keep up the great work in keeping our children safe.
