About Our School
Westbury is a diverse community located approximately 23 miles from New York City. Westbury Middle School serves approximately 850 students, grades sixth through eighth.
Our Mission
The mission of the Westbury Middle School is to create a lifelong learners who are prepared to enter and be successful in a diverse and ever changing society.
To fulfill this commitment we will provide all students with a safe and nurturing environment, and instill in them a sense of respect, integrity, cooperation and character. We will encourage students to excel in their academic and social pursuits while continuing to stimulate their intellectual curiosity and artistic expression. With the cooperation of students, teachers, staff and parents, we will create a community of learners and achievers who are... Striving for Success ... Nothing Less!
Our Philosophy
The Westbury Middle School's Philosophy is to nurture the spirit of our students to become life-long learners by enriching their academic, social and personal selves with a student centered program focused on collaboration, character education and the highest of educational standards; inspiring students to become successful and productive members of our society.
Our Beliefs
