..In November, ©Apple Computer Company conducted a Two-Day Digital Media workshop at Powells Lane to Digital Arts teachers from each of the district's six schools. Topics included digital photograph manipulation, digital video techniques, podcasting, and a host of interesting ideas on incorporating digital media technology into the core curriculum. This was the first of two training sessions ©Apple will be conducting at Westbury with the next scheduled for early this spring. ©Apple k-12 education consultant Steve Cowdrey ran the workshops.
