Apple Educational Consultant
Steve Cowdrey was on hand for the second installement of four
two-day training sessions in digital media arts this school
year using the latest Apple developed technologies. Ms. Bates,
Mrs. Grisafi, and Mr. Floreska attended the training along
with numerous other teachers within the district as part of
the 21st century digital arts programs.

Teachers learned how to
create video-based projects using digital video cameras and edit
them on their iBook computers. All of the software discussed and
used during the training sessions is already available to all students
and staff at Powells Lane and is in regular use by many of the
school's students during library, art, and computer classes.
