The Westbury Boys Varsity Basketball Team is playing Harborfields in the Class A Long Island Championship on Saturday 3/13/10 1:00 PM at Hofstra University. Admission is $7.00. Come out this Saturday to support the Green Dragons with their quest to win a Boys Basketball Long Island Championship.

The Westbury School District has implemented a new
elementary science program at the Long Island Children’s Museum in Garden City,
NY. Students in pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, second grade, third grade, and
fourth grade are being taught, by their own teachers, through hands-on exhibits
and in classrooms at the museum. The program began on October 26, and the
classes will be visiting the museum throughout the year. Participating teachers

Twenty-three students at Westbury
High School have enrolled in a College Statistics course with the opportunity
to earn three college credits through Molloy College. This course has been accredited by Molloy College.
Ms. Nicole Adamo, the Statistics Teacher,
has worked extremely hard to inform students and parents of the importance of
taking advantage of this wonderful opportunity.
